In 1891, Acme was a single brick plant in north central Texas, about an hour west of Fort Worth. We didn’t talk about corporate culture a hundred years ago – but even then, we knew who we were. In fact, it’s right in our name. The word Acme was a common business name, but it also means something specific: the highest point. We weren’t founded just to make and sell average things.
