Project Description

The school’s design, a result of collaboration with students, staff, and administration, integrates natural surroundings to enhance learning. The transformed pond and creek serve as central elements, with a unique academic building nestled into the landscape. A striking two-story entrance facade and three-story courtyard-facing structure are connected by a 100-foot skybridge.

The multistory library, a standout feature based on student feedback, offers a tree house-like experience at the academic wing-skybridge junction. Overlooking the courtyard and creek, it provides a tranquil setting for learning and reflection. All classrooms feature natural light, and 85% have direct outdoor views. The library offers diverse learning environments and a bistro for social gatherings.

The school’s exterior features a timeless, durable brick facade that evokes a classic style and breaks up the building’s mass. The cascading brick-clad planes of the front façade add a statement while maximizing natural light and picturesque views.
